How to become a member at Rockwood FC

Tryouts

Rockwood FC has tryouts each fall for the Competitive and Grassroots programs. Tryouts are FREE and open to all who are interested. All you need to do is register using the appropriate link below for your age group.

Tryouts will be held at Drexler Sports Fields (DSF) in Rockwood or Royal Distributing Athletic Performance Center (Marden).

The main parking lot for Drexler Sports Fields is located at 201 Drexler Ave, Rockwood.

Please enter using Christie Street, which turns into Drexler Ave. There is ample parking in the two lots adjacent to the fields.

There are both indoor and outdoor facilities, please read the schedule for your timeslot to ensure you go to the correct location.

NOTE: Session #2 for the Girls U15 and Boys U15 has been moved to a new date/time & location.

NOTE: Session #2 for the Boys U12/U13 has been moved to a new date/time (but same location).

Information for Tryouts

Players must pre-register for tryouts online. Go to the Registration tab, click on the appropriate link for your age group.
There is no charge for tryouts.
There are 2 tryouts dates for each listed division. Players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryouts. Players may be considered for the age division based on their year of birth and also for the next age division up with the permission of the Technical Director.

When you arrive, there will be a registration table and/or Rockwood FC representatives at field-side with a clipboard.

Players are requested to bring a water bottle and wear cleats, shin guards and clothes suitable for soccer/physical activity. Please do not wear club uniforms from previous season. There will be no guarantee that change rooms will be available.
