Competitive and Grassroots

Welcome to the RFC Competitive Program!

The Rockwood Competitive Program consists of teams trained by Technical Director Gareth Davies and is designed to encompass all aspects of Rep soccer. Players and Parents are expected to have a high level of commitment and the Competitive Program provides the highest level of training required to maximize individual player and team development. Grassroots and Competitive players up to U18 will participate in a program that is 10 months in length and is costed as such.

Only players on teams U21 and above have a "summer-only" option, which is listed on the fee schedule (see below).

Registration for Tryouts is now open!

Sessions to be held on the weekends of Sept 21 & 22 and Sept 28 & 29, 2024.  Click below for more information.

Interested in volunteering for your child's team?

We are always looking to develop new coaches and on-board managers to support team operations.

Coaches are required to attend training and obtain certifications, which is a mix of in-person and online modules.  Our Technical Director can work with you to facilitate this fully-reimbursable training.

Team managers help with administrative tasks, such as team communications, game sheets, arrange tournament/festival entries and team accounting.  This is a rewarding way to support the team.  Managers are fully supported by club admin staff.

Included in your Competitive and Grassroots Fees:

A non-refundable deposit  is due upon acceptance of your offer.  This deposit secures your spot and covers expenses from initial registration and until the first of the remaining payments is made. Fees are divided into manageable payments that will cover individual and team expenses as programming progresses. If you have any questions or concerns regarding fees and the payment schedule, please contact registrar@rockwoodfc.com

Refund Policy

RFC is committed to providing opportunities for our athletes to reach their full potential.  In today’s environment, plans and programs can change in a moment. Your fees are based on a year round program.  Due to the investment made in your programs, prior to players stepping on the field, we cannot define an all-encompassing refund policy.  In the event of a program disruption, know that RFC will carefully examine expenses to determine where pro-rated refunds are warranted.

Please refer to the RFC Refund Policy on the Club Policies page for more specific dates and details.
