Hello Rockwood FC:

We have come to the end of another highly successful football season for Rockwood FC. A season full of exciting fun filled footy for everyone, both in the house league, and the more competitive RFC Rep league.

Once again we had over 500 participants playing the world’s number one sport!!!

We, at Rockwood FC, continue striving to improve our footballing program and bring more value to everyone involved. This year we wanted to begin the process of developing the basic footy skills from the earliest age of a child’s involvement with the beautiful game.

To that end we contracted with No Tippy Tappy Soccer to provide a series of coaching and development programs that involved all levels within Rockwood FC, and especially for the younger age groups. Who can not be gratified with the sight of our very youngest players sitting attentively and listening to, watching and then practicing what Ross Smith and his team were teaching them.

We intend to build upon that success. We have contracted with No Tippy Tappy to, once again, provide a series of development programs for the 2014 season.

The big difference is that they will be doing it for all 12 weeks of our outdoor season for the U4 and U6 age groups.

In addition No Tippy Tappy will also be providing coaching and teaching for our other age groups at both rep and house levels, both for players and our coaches.

We believe that this commitment will add significantly to our ability to provide a rich, fun-filled football experience for all Rockwood FC Members.

I would urge all parents to sign up for the 2014 season sooner rather than later. Please watch for our advertising regarding sign-up dates.

In closing, I would like to sincerely thank ALL of you that worked so hard to make the 2013 season the success it was – from the Executive, to the coaches, assistant coaches, team managers and all the volunteers who gave their time.

Without all of you Rockwood FC would not be possible.

Here’s looking forward to another great football season at your ROCKWOOD FC.
