ROCKWOOD FC TECHNICAL DIRECTOR ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great disappointment that we announce that Gareth Davies has resigned from his current role as the Rockwood FC Technical Director due to personal considerations, effective February 8, 2025.

Gareth has been a great addition to the Rockwood FC team for the past 2.5 years and has contributed significantly to the progress and success achieved by RFC. We thank him for all he has done and wish him and family much success and happiness in the future.

However, it is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of Cormac Cleary to the position of RFC Technical Director, effective February 10th, 2025.

Cormac has over 12 years of coaching and training with several soccer clubs in the GTA region and has extensive experience in working with grassroots, development and rep teams. He has significant soccer educational qualifications including CONCACAF Canadian National B license, Ontario Provincial C license, Canada Soccer National Children’s license and several USA soccer courses.

Cormac is passionate about soccer and will be looking to add more soccer skills activities and learning to the overall soccer program which we expect will add greatly to our players’ soccer experience.

We expect a smooth transition from Gareth to Cormac and there should be no changes to the current winter program for all teams.

Cormac will be communicating with everyone in the near future as he sets about assuming his new responsibilities.
